Questions & Answers

Question
Two questions: Does CBDistillery CBDefine Skin Cream 500 mg have Arnica as one of the active ingredients? Do you think that this product would be effective for relieving foot neuropathy? I have been using Lyrica and an Arnica gel at night to help me sleep, and the combination is pretty effective, but I would like to stop using the Lyrica, do not like some of the side effects and the cost is exorbitant. Looking for an alternative treatment. Bruce Potts asked on April 16, 2019
Answer
I don't believe this Skin Cream has Arnica. In regards to its effectiveness with neuropathic pain, it's hard to say since every case is fairly subjective (and of course I am not a medical professional); however, there have been multiple studies in rats showing positive results for many neuronal issues... multiple sclerosis... even certain types of neuropathic pain. So it MAY help. Here's the links to some of those studies if you're interested (I've linked the neuropathic ones that may be of more interest to you): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22585736 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17157290 Best of luck! Purchased this cream in hopes that it would help my nephropathy. I used it for a week, and other than extremely greasy feet, it sadly had no effect. In all fairness, it is not advertised as a solution for nephropathy pain, but based on all of the rave reviews at other sites for CBD oil and compounds, I thought it would be worth a shot. Unfortunately, it did not help, just left my feet very greasy for hours, never did seem to be absorbed by my skin. Might be good for other ailments, but the greasiness and smell make it a very expensive and failed experiment. The smell is not that bad, but is not pleasant either. I guess I will keep searching.
