Best CBG Gummies In 2023

0

In this post we will examine what is CBG exactly and what is the difference between CBG and CBD? Thereafter we will discuss the top 10 best CBG gummies for 2023, why CBG gummies for pain are a great solution and finally we explore the variety of CBG products on the market.

What Is CBG?

Cannabigerol or CBG is a compound found in cannabis plants. It is among over 100 other phytocannabinoids, but is often referred to as the mother of all cannabinoids. A study by the name of The Pharmacological Case for Cannabigerol states, “The cannabis plant, however, produces over 100 different cannabinoids, and cannabigerol (CBG) serves as the precursor molecule for the most abundant phytocannabinoids.”

As the hemp plant grows from a seed, it begins to develop its cannabinoids, but that process first begins with CBGA. In chemistry, a precursor is a compound that participates in a chemical reaction that will produce another separate compound. And so CBGA is the acidic precursor to CBG, CBD and THC.

As the plant continues to grow and absorb UV light, the CBGA compound begins to break down into CBDA and THCA. These two cannabinoids are the acidic precursors to the most well known cannabinoids CBD and THC. This continual process leaves very little CBG in fully matured cannabis plants.

Due to the small amounts of CBG found in mature plants, it is most often extracted from young hemp plants because they contain much higher levels of CBG. Today growers are becoming more savvy and are cultivating plants to produce higher levels of CBG through cross-breeding and genetic manipulation.

What Is The Difference Between CBG And CBD?

CBG and CBD are both phytocannabinoids found in cannabis plants. CBD is most often found in higher quantities than CBG. And this is why CBD is considered to be a major cannabinoid, while CBG is considered a minor cannabinoid.

CBD and CBG are both non-psychoactive This means neither cannabinoid will offer feelings of euphoria most often associated with Delta 9 THC.

CBG and CBD offer some very similar benefits in regard to neurological disorders such as:

  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Huntington’s Disease
  • Multiple sclerosis

Both cannabinoids also offer anti-inflammatory benefits, can enhance mood and motivation, alleviate pain and can help regulate appetite and sleep.

Though CBG is not as well-researched as CBD, more and more case studies are being carried out by scientists as CBG shows much promise for several therapeutic uses.

Why CBG Gummies For Pain?

Choosing CBG gummies for pain is recommended as research has found that CBG acts as an agonist of the CB1 and CB2 receptors and may behave in a similar way as a GABA reuptake inhibitor. This indicates that CBG could possibly have a relation to neuropathic and inflammatory pain.

More studies performed on CBG have proven that it contains anti-inflammation and analgesic properties. This has made CBG a popular choice for pain mitigation with conditions such as arthritis, inflammation due to chronic pain and even IBS.

When CBG is eaten via a gummy, effects will last longer in the system generally than if it were smoked or vaped. CBG can be taken on an empty stomach, but effects will vary from person to person.

How To Choose The Best Gummies For You?

When choosing quality hemp products, it is always best to note the following 3 things prior to committing to making a purchase. If all three seem legitimate, you’ve found yourself a quality hemp product.

Look for 3rd party lab results

Reading the lab results to ensure quality and safety should always be the #1 priority. This way you will understand which cannabinoids are present and in what quantities, as well as heavy metals or types of pollutants.

Quality Ingredients

Look for high quality ingredients and labels stating organic or all natural. Try to avoid heavy dyes and excessive usage of preservatives. You want the freshest batches you can get to insure potency.

Potency by dose

Always note potency by dosage per gummy. This way you can test your comfort level by starting with a lower dosage and then increase as you feel comfortable.

What Other Types Of CBG Products Are Available?

Flower

It is now becoming much easier to consume CBG as a supplement for a healthier you. Growers are now growing bud flower with very high percentages in CBG such as Dr.Ganja’s CBD Hemp Flower that boasts 13% CBG.

Purchasing bulk CBG flower is a good option for those who simply would like to smoke or vape pure CBG. It is also great for making high purity oils for cooking, baking or infusing it into beverages.

CBG Isolate

CBG is also available in broad spectrum or isolate oils. Dr.Ganja offers CBG isolate in powder form that is easy to use for beginner users or for seasoned cannabis connoisseurs.

It can be dabbed or sprinkled on bud flower to be smoked. It is tasteless so it can simply be eaten on its own or by introducing it into your favorite food recipes and drinks.

Tinctures

Notable brands such as Lazarus Naturals, 3Chi, Canna River and Dutch Natural Healing offer amazing high potency broad spectrum and isolate CBG tinctures.

Using tinctures is easy and discreet when you’re on the go throughout your day. It can be placed under the tongue, or into foods and beverages.

Capsules

Capsules are another excellent way to easily supplement CBG during morning or evening for long lasting effects. Capsules often include some CBD for a double dose of calm and relaxation.

Personal Care

In addition to all these other CBG products, lotions or balms are also widely available for skin health, pain and/or muscle soreness. These products are often formulated with other herbs and terpenes that work to reduce inflammation.

All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals.

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions

I pulled out the buds from the Styrofoam packing peanuts in the square mailing box. My first takeaway was that the all-black bag was resealable.

Unless you’re gonna smoke it all, you want good storage for your stash. This cannabis comes with its own air-tight container. How handy is that?

The front side is simple. The Dr. Ganja logo is emblazoned in green near the top. It identifies the contents as ‘CBD Hemp Flower’. It states that it was ‘nurtured and grown in the USA’. And It says that the herb contains ‘0.3% delta-9 THC or less’. At the bottom is a list of things the bud was lab-tested for.

While all of the above is interesting and important, the best part of the front panel is the window. In the middle of the pack is a plastic screen that displays the gorgeous green nugs inside. More on those in just a bit.

The reverse side of the resealable bag has a lot more info.

The name of the strain is featured on a white sticker on the back. It also has a batch number and highlights some of the detected cannabinoids and terpenes. It has a QR code that links to online testing results. And it lists the weight of the hemp as 7g.

There’s a paragraph of info and disclaimers like ‘produced in accordance with the Farm bill’. It does caution that that product does not promise to ‘diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease’. Lots of standard industry stuff.

There is also a web address and telephone number for customer contact.

That was about it for the container.

Now for the nugs.

I opened up the zip-seal top. As soon as I unzipped the bag, I detected a strong skunky smell mixed with powerful pine perfume.

Reaching in, I plucked out a bud to examine. It was good-sized. The texture was spongy.

I turned it over in my hand. The flower was light green. There were golds and purples mixed in, too. And there were lots of white specks all over. It was well-coated with sugary trichomes.

I snapped off a small piece. There was a bit of stickiness, but it wasn’t overly gluey.

I couldn’t wait to try some in my trusty bong!

Smell and Taste

I quickly ground enough for a bowl or two. I assembled my bong. And I put a spark to the Kush.

I breathed it in deeply. The taste was citrus lemon with an earthy aftertaste. Like eating fresh fruit right off the tree. It was a very satisfying smoke when it came to flavor.

Plumes of pine scent and sour skunk filled the air. The haze that filled the apartment was rather dense. I like a cannabis cologne that lingers and this did.

It created a nice fog of dankness. The shafts of sunlight coming from the windows were a visual bonus.

Okay, so it smoked great. It also smelled and tasted terrific. But what about the benefits?

Testing Process and Experience

Dosing by smoking doesn’t produce much immediate effect. Sometimes, there’s a little bit of relief right away. That’s because some of the cannabinoids do get absorbed through your mouth. Overall, it does take a few minutes to go from your lungs and through the bloodstream to blossom in your brain.

But once it does kick in, it is nice!  I’d say it took all of fifteen minutes to get to full steam.

The first thing I noticed was a feeling of relaxation settling in. Not sleepiness but calmness. I still felt mentally alert. But the destressing was noticeable.

Then I was aware of the easing of my osteoarthritis joint pain. My discomfort dialed down considerably and stayed low for hours.

All the benefits, for both pain and stress, lasted for several hours before it was time to puff some more.

I did my trial in the evening. I tend to try hemp strains at night because I have found CBD flower to be sedating sometimes. While this one didn’t make me sleepy, it did relax me a lot. That night I slept incredibly well.

This bud can be enjoyed throughout the day. It isn’t going to couch-lock you, but it will help you deal better with stress and pain.

Now that we’ve explored the kosmic together, let’s recap.

Final Verdict

A sativa hemp like this one works well throughout the day. It’s relaxing but not tranquilizing. So, it’d be great at breakfast, fine for lunch, and super after supper.

It’s dank cannabis with fabulous flavor. The spongy green nugs smell of pine and diesel. When lit those odors intensify nicely. And when you draw in the smoke, it fills your mouth with a citrusy succulence. There is a bit of earthy aftertaste to it, too.

Not only is it an enjoyable dosing experience but the effects are likewise excellent. Stellar stress and pain relief come within minutes. These benefits hung around for several hours.

It really is a blast, smoking this bud! Could you use some kush? Give this one a try!

Strawberry Cake Hemp Strain Review

If you like your hemp sweet, then you’ll find this one a treat! Do you enjoy great flavor with strong benefits? Then you may want to smoke Strawberry Cake forever.

And the fragrance is fabulously fruity!

Plus, this is a well-balanced hybrid strain. That means it doesn’t couch-lock you after puffing away. Yes, you can indulge before bed, but you can also have a little throughout the day.

Another nice thing about this cannabis is it can be taken legally without a card or prescription. Though some local jurisdictions may restrict use, generally hemp dosing is not limited.

There’s a lot to recommend this variety. We’ll break down what makes this berry blast so enjoyable and beneficial.

All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals.

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions

I was pleased to pull out a resealable bag from the packing peanuts. That way I can smoke some now and save some for later. And it should stay fresh for a long time in an air-tight envelope.

Plus, there is a little humidity controller packet inside. It keeps the moisture perfectly balanced for the best cannabinoids and terpenes.

I set aside the sturdy mailing box and packing. I looked over the hemp bag.

It was mostly black. The front side had a window in the middle through which you can see the nugs. They looked nice and green against the silvery backing inside.

There was also a bright green Dr.Ganja logo across the top of the pouch’s front. And some brief info about the package content. It states that the cannabis is ‘CBD Hemp Flower’! Further, it says there’s ‘0.3% delta-9 THC or less’.

Then at the bottom, it asks, ‘What’s in your bud?’. It lists the good things that are in the herb like cannabinoids and terpenes. And it mentions things screened out like pesticides.

The reverse side features the name of the strain. There’s a phone number and web address for the manufacturer. There’s a paragraph with some disclaimers and cautions, such as ‘keep out of reach of children’. And there’s a list of some of the lab-tested contents and the weight – 7g.

The resealable bag has good info, on either side. It’s worth taking a moment to read it.

Now, what about the hemp?

Reaching in and taking out a bud, I notice a strong fruity smell with a hint of diesel.

The flower itself was good-sized. Not the biggest buds I’d seen, but worthy of notice. The nug was spongy. It was dark green with colorful striations. And it shimmered in the light with frosty trichomes.

I snapped off a bit and felt stickiness. I hand-shredded some for the first try.

After, I could use a hand grinder. I suspected it’d be gummy to grind at first until it was shredded some.

Once I had a decent bowl’s worth, I fetched my handy bong for a test flight.

Smell and Taste

I put flame to bud to give this strain a try.

The oiliness of the hemp made the shredded cannabis become a candle. The flame remained after I extinguished the lighter. Because it was so fresh, it didn’t burn quickly.

It was a smooth smoke, not harsh at all.

The flavor was like a sweet strawberry with a hint of diesel sourness. Each puff was succulent. There were no diminishing returns.

And the aroma was distinctly strawberry with some pine in the mix. It got intense as I smoked the bowl because the sticky goodness burns long. And it nicely danked up our apartment for a while. There was a wreath of this strain’s evergreen bouquet. The sweet and sour strawberry scent underlay the forest smell.

Thus far, this cannabis tasted great and had a fantastic fragrance. But how did it affect me?

Testing Process and Experience

If you want nearly instant results, then tincture is the way to go. A drop under your tongue and it takes mere minutes to experience relief. This was not that.

However, even with leaf, I have found that you did get minor benefits within a few minutes. Otherwise, it can take fifteen to twenty minutes to reach full strength.

Once the pain and stress do decrease, the relaxation lasts for hours. I did my trial of this bud in the early evening. My chronic back pain faded into the background and stayed low-key for the rest of the night.

Also, it helped my wife a great deal. She has multiple sclerosis and is recovering from a long hospital stay. A bowl of the bud reduced the pain and stiffness in her muscles.

Now, this isn’t a strain that will knock you out. It’s only slightly sedating. So, you can take some during the day and feel relaxed, but not overly sleepy. That said, I generally dose with hemp at night because it does help you get a good night’s sleep.

Suffice to say, I was very pleased with how this hemp made me feel.

Final Verdict

If flavor is your thing, then you will like this flower! It has a terrific taste! The sour yet sweet flavor is punctuated with some diesel aftertaste.

The bouquet is beautifully piney with fruity overtones. It will perfume your place with an agreeable dankness.

But dosing with hemp is also about results and this strain has that in spades! It is relaxing without putting you under. Yet, if you take it before bed, it will help you get a good night’s rest. If you do take it during the day, you’ll likely be able to stay active.

The pain and stress relief it provides is potent! Further, the effects will linger for several hours.

Bottom line, opting to try this bud did not disappoint! Strawberry Cake is a dessert strain that can be experienced throughout the day. It’s a balanced bud with a lot to offer those who like their cannabis strong and sweet!

Cherry Crème Brulee Hemp Strain Review

Who doesn’t love dessert? This cannabis strain is deliciously sweet tasting. So, if you like full-bodied flavor with your benefits, then this bud can’t be beaten.

Maybe you haven’t tried hemp flower before. Well, dosing with this variety might surprise you.

CBD strains don’t get you high, but they can be effective in dealing with stress and pain. And the relaxation that you feel can last for hours.

This variety packs less than 0.3% delta-9 THC in every nug. So, it should be legal to purchase and use just about everywhere.

I like big buds and I cannot lie – these are glorious! Full and fluffy, they are a gorgeous green!

That’s a quick sketch of this cannabis confection, let’s look a little closer.

All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals.

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions

When this hemp arrived, it was well-packed in a sturdy cardboard box. It was nested in with a bunch of Styrofoam packing peanuts.

I pulled the packet of cannabis out of the box. I was first impressed by the resealable container. How handy is that? Unless you’re going to smoke it all up at once, airtight storage is essential. Exposure to air can let the leaf get moldy or lose flavor.

The front and back of the pack are black. Inside is a silvery backing. And there is a window in front that showcases these fluffy nugs nicely. Above that is the Dr. Ganja logo in bright green.

There’s not too much else on the front side. There is a statement indicating that the hemp has ‘0.3% delta-9 THC or less’. And it tells you that the cannabis crop these buds came from was ‘nurtured and grown in the USA’.

Finally, it asks ‘What’s In Your Bud?’. It assures that it’s been lab-tested for cannabinoids, terpenes, pesticides, and more.

The reverse side states the name of the strain. The back text also has a list of cannabinoids and terpenes in the herb.

Manufacturer contact information is listed, online and off. You see the phone number and website address.

The weight of the cannabis in grams is listed. So, 7 grams for this envelope.

Okay, it was time to rip the top of the pouch. It tears open easily.

The aroma from the bag was sweetness with a hint of pine.

I reached in and pulled out a nice-sized nugget. It was dense and green. Breaking off a piece, my fingers felt a little sticky.

There are lots of frosty trichomes coating these fragrant flowers. Plus, it is covered with light green and reddish hairs.

When you grind it up, you end up with a lot of kief. Save that kief! There are plenty of cannabinoids in it. If you sprinkle kief over your bowl when you smoke it, it increases the potency of your puffs.

Speaking of puffs, it was time to spark it up and see how this sweet herb smoked.

Smell and Taste

Sparking my bong bowl, I inhaled some and held it in my mouth to savor it a moment. The flavor was intensely sweet, like a dessert. There was also a bit of fresh pine and diesel to the taste.

The smoke from the burning bud was strong but not acrid or skunky. There was more of the evergreen essence in the air and more than a hint of lemon. It did take a few hours to dissipate completely after my first bowl.

Even after subsequent puffs, the taste and smell stayed strong. There was no dulling of the flavor or aroma.

Overall, it was an enjoyable sesh.

Now I was curious about what effects I would notice.

Testing Process and Experience

Immediately there was only slight relaxation of pain relief. It takes several minutes for the benefits to truly begin.

Within a half-hour of my first bowl, I definitely felt good relief. I felt relaxed and stress-free.

I tried some with my wife. She has found that this hemp can help with her multiple sclerosis. She has less muscle stiffness. Thus, she can move freely and without soreness.

I know it really dials down the pain from my osteoarthritis and chronic back pain.

I’d say this is a strain that’s better in the evening. It is very relaxing. However, on a stressful day, a small dose just might calm your nerves.

Once the relief kicked in, it seemed to last a few hours. When the benefits did wear off, there were no groggy after-effects. I just felt chill.

And when I turned in for bed a few hours later, I had a great night’s sleep!

So, if you seek a mellow smoke, look no further.

Let’s reflect on everything we’ve learned about this outstanding strain for a moment.

Final Verdict

This hemp is like sugar. A sweet, tasty treat that has zero calories!

The flavor is a mix of fruity, piney, and some earthy diesel. The aroma is like being in an evergreen forest next to a citrus orchard.

The nugs are big and beautifully green. They are a little sticky when you break them apart.

This cannabis variety has a lot going for it. Not only is it delicious, but it does have powerful benefits. While not overly sedating, it does give great relaxation. Plus, it provides stress and pain relief.

The effects kick in within minutes and can last for hours. If you like mellowness and need some sweet relief, this may be just the flower for you!

Cashmere Kitty Hemp Strain Review

This strain is one cool cannabis cat! There are clusters of hemp cannabinoids in each and every bud of this fantastic flower!

Why do users enjoy smoking or vaping CBD leaf? Because they get relaxation and pain relief without a buzz. There’s less than 0.3% delta-9 THC in the source pants harvested. That makes it largely legal in most places.

So, no worries about ordering and enjoying this seriously good and beneficial bud. Check with your local laws to be sure, though.

What’s so special about Cashmere Kitty?

It is somewhat stimulating for hemp. Not caffeinating like a sativa but produces more of an awake state of mellowness. That’s a difference that means a lot if you want to dose throughout the day.

Not only that, but it has fantastic flavor! Inhaling the fumes is like walking through a pine forest!

There’s a lot to love! Let’s take a closer look at this luxuriant leaf. So, here’s the skinny on Cashmere Kitty!

All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals.

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions

The hemp flower arrived in a solid-looking square cardboard box. I sliced it open and emptied out the foam packing peanuts.

Suspended safely in the middle of the carton was the plastic sleeve with the cannabis inside. I pulled that out and looked it over, front and back.

The packet was black on both sides. There was a clear plastic window on the front through which you could see the nice nugs.

In front, the Dr. Ganja logo is displayed in large print, right at the very top. Text notes that the source plants are ‘nurtured and grown in the USA’. Further, there is an assurance that the cannabis ‘contains 0.3% delta-9 THC or less’. So, users get benefits without a buzz.

The labeling says that all hemp is lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals. That’s reassuring.

I flipped it over, and the name of the strain was clearly shown on the reverse side. A label also lists some of the cannabinoid and terpene content. Elsewhere, it displays the manufacturer’s contact information and web page address.

The backside text also gives the cannabis content’s weight as 7 grams.

The top of the cannabis container tears off easily. It’s resealable, so you can smoke some now and save the rest for later.

I detected a very piney aroma as I opened the bag. It was strong, like an evergreen tree smells.

The buds are small and in clusters. They are green with flecks of yellow and red. When you break one open, it is a little sticky inside.

I was looking forward to seeing how it tasted and what the effects were.

Smell and Taste

I quickly hand-shredded a couple of small nugs. Some sticky residue stays on your fingers, but not too badly.

When I fired up the bong, I immediately noticed a pine tree smell with some citrusy fragrance mixed in. It smelled very sweet.

That evergreen forest aroma that I noticed when I opened the pouch was even stronger when the hemp was lit. As I puffed away, the resulting haze hung in the air. It took a while for the pine tree scent to dissipate after I was done.

It was a flavorful bowl. The lemony zest stood out. The aftertaste was sweet and sour, like lemon drop candies. There was some earthiness mixed in there, too.

It’s a smooth smoke. I found it very enjoyable.

So, how did I feel after a bowl?

Testing Process and Experience

It takes a few minutes for the effects to really kick in. There’s a slight immediate effect, with some relaxation starting right away. It takes about fifteen to twenty minutes to really reach full effect.

Though calming, it wasn’t sedating. I didn’t feel dopey. I still had a good amount of energy.

As a chronic pain sufferer, one reason I like to dose with hemp is for relief. This strain gave a good amount of that. My lower back pain dialed down to a barely noticeable background level.

After about an hour, the relaxation settled in and I did feel a bit sleepy.

All things considered, I think that Cashmere Kitty is good for all-day usage. It’s not tranquilizing and even has an initial energy boost. But, after some time passes, it does relax you sufficiently that you could sleep if you wanted to.

This works well in the morning with coffee. And I wouldn’t hesitate to take some an hour or so before bedtime.

I have tried this strain at various times of the day. Personally, I prefer dosing with Cashmere Kitty in the evening so that I feel mellow as I get ready for bed.

Final Verdict

So, what have we learned?

This hemp is a bit sticky with small buds. It is green with reddish specks.

Before it is toked, it has an evergreen bouquet. That piney smell increases when you put fire to the leaf. And it produces an atmosphere like walking through northern woods.

The effects are mild to start, even energizing. But the chill feeling starts quickly and builds over time.

You can smoke this in the morning with some java. It works well in the evening before bed, too.

I dose with hemp for pain relief and relaxation. This is great hemp for both of those. If you are seeking a CBD flower that has mild effects and great taste, consider this kitty. It starts frisky, but then will have you curling up for a catnap.

Pink Panther Hemp Strain Review

I was eager to try this hemp strain because I really enjoy the cartoon character it’s named after. In fact, the familiar theme song is playing in my head even as I write this.

Plus, it’s a more energizing cannabis. CBD from hemp tends to be relaxing. Some are downright couch-lock-inducing. Not so much this one.

That means that it can be enjoyed from early in the morning to late afternoon. It’s an all-day strain.

Clearly, there’s something different about this CBD flower.

It stands out in appearance and effects. Some say it has an almost lavender coloring. There are also more greenish hues.

And it has a flavor you won’t soon forget. It is sweet and citrusy.

It is an outstanding product from a reputable hemp merchant. Certified pure and organic, it’s a great smoke!

Let’s get into the specifics.

All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions

The shipping box the Pink Panther leaf came in was about half the size of a shoebox.

Slicing open the top, I pulled the flaps aside, and it was filled with Styrofoam ‘peanuts’. Digging through those, I found the buds.

Dr. Ganja’s hemp comes in a black ‘envelope’ pack with a clear front window so that you can see the cannabis flower inside. The lettering is either green or white, somewhat alternatingly.

It is a resealable package with a ‘Ziploc’ press-and-seal strip at the top. That way you can keep your CBD hemp flower fresh.

On the front, below the big, green Dr. Ganja logo is a window that displays the fluffy, green nugs. They are backed by a silvery package lining.

There’s some basic info. The CBD hemp flower is ‘nurtured and grown in the USA’. It ‘contains 0.3% delta-9 THC or less’. And that All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals. Basic stuff.

Over on the back is where you will find the name of the strain. Also, there’s a brief breakdown of the cannabinoid and terpene content. Here you will find contact information and the web address.

A small paragraph cautions that the product has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. In short, there’s some useful text. I would recommend reading it through at least once.

That’s it for the packaging.

It was now time to tear open the top of the data-covered freshness packet. Now I could access the fine flower inside!

The nugs are green with purple and green colors mixed in. It does give the buds a somewhat violet tint.

They are decent-sized. Pink Panther has dense clusters of cannabis flowers.

Taking one out, it is noticeably sticky with a strong lemony smell.

It was time to grind some up and toss it in the bong bowl. Then light it up and give it a try!

Smell and Taste

Opening the Pink Panther packet, I immediately noticed a lemony, piney smell.

Again, it’s a very sticky bud. I took some up and hand-shredded it, putting the bits in my bong bowl. Then I ignited my lighter and put flame to leaf.

The aroma of the burning hemp was citrusy with a bit of earthiness. It was strong, but I wouldn’t call it dank. Some of the hemps I have tried have a very mild bouquet, but this was definitely robust. Just not overpowering.

So, I took a puff, and held it for a moment. There was a sweetness to the taste. The lemon and pine were still there but more in the background.

After exhaling, there was an earthy aftertaste. Not unpleasant, it was rather woodsy.

The piney fragrance of the haze from smoking a bowl hung in the air a good while after.

Now I wanted to assess how the herb was making me feel.

Testing Process and Experience

After a few minutes, there was a slightly relaxed feeling. Within about fifteen minutes, I felt downright mellow. Not couch-locked, just very chill.

I still was mentally alert, not dopey. I didn’t feel like my limbs were moving in slow-motion or anything.

I had waited until evening just in case the hemp hit did make me sleepy. But no worries. I was awake for several hours after that and never felt overtired.

I did sleep well that night.

Other benefits I noted included a lessening of my chronic lower back pain. My mood was light, though I hadn’t been stressed or upset before trying the Pink Panther.

I can’t be sure when the effects wore off because they weren’t overly intense. Even the next morning, I was in good spirits and relatively pain-free.

Generally, though, the effects should last a few hours.

Subsequent smokes confirmed my first impressions.

Final Verdict

This is sweet-tasting hemp. It’s got a citrusy fragrance with a mix of evergreen. And it has an earthy aftertaste.

It comes well-packaged in a resealable pouch. That keeps it fresh between uses.

The package has all kinds of information on the front and back. There are links to third-party testing results. It’s all organic with no toxins detected. And the cannabinoid profile is verified. Thus, you can feel good about dosing with this hemp.

Hitting on this hemp gives you good relaxation without being sedated. And the effects last for hours.

It’s good early morning cannabis. Or it works throughout the day. I tried it before bedtime and still slept fine.

It’s worthy hemp with good flavor and mildly relaxing benefits. Now you have a clue, so consider buying some. I think you’ll like Pink Panther.

Exploring Hemp Product Labels

0

Get ready for some in depth details of what the labels mean with our vetted products, such as oil and tinctures, and have a little fun too!

Tinctures and Oils

The first, and most interesting label(s) in my opinion, are the tinctures and or oils, which mainly include CBD, CBG, CBN and Delta 8 THC. They all have one thing in common, they each have cannabinoids that may affect your endocannabinoid system, which is a natural portion of how we may regulate and balance processes in our bodies.

What are the types of oils?

Full Spectrum CBD Oil

The first type of oil you will see is Full Spectrum, and it contains a great amount, or wide spectrum, of cannabinoids, including terpenes that come from hemp seed oil. However, these oils do contain a small amount, below 0.3% of THC.

This Full Spectrum CBD Oil Tincture by Lazarus Naturals is formulated with a powerhouse combination of ingredients. The first component of this tincture is non-GMO hemp. The ingredients are Organic hemp seed oil, organic MCT coconut oil, and full spectrum hemp extract.

The company has its very own farms in central Oregon, so they’re able to monitor the growing and cultivating process. This is a stand-out feature about the product that only a few other CBD companies can claim.

Additionally, this product undergoes thorough testing by an independent, third-party lab. The lab reports show that Lazarus Naturals CBD Tincture is free of pesticides, heavy metals, microbial content, like yeast and molds, and residual solvents.

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil

The next interesting and synergistic oil type is Broad Spectrum CBD Oil, because it captures the plant’s beneficial properties like Terpenes, Cannabinoids, Amino Acids, and Essential Oils. All of these together can be called Broad-Spectrum because it has the potential benefits from the parts of the plant minus the THC!

This cbdMD CBD oil tincture is exactly that and has a lower potency or starting point of 300mg in a 30ml, and it is a Hybrid Broad Spectrum CBD Oil Tincture.

The CBD is sourced from non-GMO hemp plants grown in the USA and is third-party tested for quality.

If you’re looking for a natural-tasting CBD Oil that’s 100% organic, USA-grown, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan, you’ve come to the right place.

cbdMD CBD Oil Tincture 300mg 30ml – Buy Premium CBD Oil (drganja.com)

CBD Isolate Oil

The next oil that really fascinates me the most is CBD Isolate in any form, which is the pure extract with 100% of CBD or Cannabidiol. I like it because it is without THC, and I don’t have to worry about quality, or purity. CBD Isolate is free of terpenes, and is further extracted and processed into crystals with no flavor.

I personally don’t react to THC very well and I prefer products without any amount of it. The Infinite CBD Isolate drops with 1000mg of pure Cannabidiol is a great choice for me, because it doesn’t have any THC, and each drop has 2mg, making it potent and easy to measure with 33.3mg per ml of Isolate.

This can be great potency for any type of consumer and has many different application method(s). I use 4 drops at a time, which is the right potency for me, and I started by taking a small dose and then gauging the effects.

Infinite CBD Isolate Drops 1000mg – Buy Purest CBD Drops (drganja.com)

Delta 8 THC Oil

The last and ever-growing cannabinoid is Delta 8 THC. It occurs in much smaller concentrations than most other cannabinoids.

3Chi’s Delta 8 THC Tincture has a beginner dose of 600mg of Delta 8 THC, and it includes a well-rounded hemp derived cannabinoid profile that includes CBD and CBN in low amounts, which makes it a broad spectrum extracted oil.

Also, to increase the potency of this product, 3Chi’s tincture includes the terpenes limonene and pinene, for enhancement and flavor.

One dropper holds 1 ml of oil, which equates to 20mg of Delta 8 THC, CBD, CBN, and terpenes. We recommend starting at a low dose and gauge how you feel. MCT oil is also a component, as a soluble compound (cannabinoids & terpenes) by helping them assimilate into the body, so you can reap the benefits of this tincture. In addition, the bottle is opaque, preventing any light from coming through and damaging the volatile properties of hemp.

Finally, the dropper has markers along the side to help you dose properly. Since this is a high-potency formula it’s best to start low and go slow. In other words, take a little at a time and give your body a chance to respond and adapt before upping the dose.

Types of Oils Summary

To sum it up, these oils are Full Spectrum, with high cannabinoids, along with plant derived terpenes with a small amount of 0.3% THC.Then Broad-Spectrum Oil, that captures the beneficial properties like Terpenes, Cannabinoids, Amino Acids, and Essential Oils with zero THC. The next and my favorite is the 100% Pure CBD Isolate Oil, that is purified and extracted without THC.

Delta 8 THC is the last that is both captivating with both different and similar cannabinoid profiles, and these Cannabinoids can work synergistically together, such as a Broad-Spectrum Delta 8 with CBN and CBD.

Contents of the Oil Labels

Okay, now we can get down to the contents on the labels!

First, what do these oils and labels have in common?

They each have a carrier oil, such as Coconut MCT Oil, Hemp Oil, and/or Full Spectrum Hemp Extract.

The most common carrier oil is MCT Oil, a medium-chain fatty acid (MCT), that is derived from Coconut oil. It greatly affects and increases digestion times and may improve bioavailability of hemp’s fat-soluble compounds, which are cannabinoids & terpenes.

This is basically what we want, right?

What is Hemp Oil and or Extract?

How is it used and why?

Hemp oil and or extract have a host of minerals, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and is the basis of all CBD products. It can be beneficial because of its essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, (PUFAs), including omega-3s and omega-6s.

Fatty acids, which we obtain from hemp oil, are vital for the normal operation of all body systems. Hemp oil contains omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids in a ratio of 3:1, which is proposed to be the ideal ratio.

Also, CBD hemp extract interacts with the endocannabinoid system to stimulate many functions in the body that help support sleep, digestive health, stress reduction, and overall well being. Basically, CBD hemp may help the systems in your body to work more optimally for overall health and wellness.

What about the actual labels?

Potency

When I first looked at the CBD bottles, they were confusing to me, and sometimes still do! What confused me the most was the potency of oil per bottle, because it made me think that each serving was the big number on the front of the label.

As an example, the Standard Potency Lazarus Naturals Full Spectrum CBD Tincture has 600mg of Full Hemp Extract per bottle, so that makes it seem like each serving of oil, per 1ml dropper, has 600mg of CBD, when the actual serving size is 20mg per CBD 1ml, or one dropper.

The details on the bottles

The ingredients are organic hemp seed oil, organic MCT coconut oil, and Full Spectrum hemp extract. Those confused me too, because I didn’t know the difference between the types of CBD, and what I was actually getting in the bottle.

The front of the bottle in small letters often list/indicate what type of and or cannabinoids are in the CBD Oil.

What on earth are these names on top or the middle of the bottle? Oftentimes, such as a label that says “Lazarus Naturals” or “Infinite CBD” are the names of the companies who create each oil.

The numbers in big bold letters are worth the amount of CBD for the entire bottle, and the small numbers are usually the amount of CBD in one dropper, or ml of each serving.

The labels that indicate Full Spectrum Oils and or Tinctures, have 0.3% or less of THC, while Broad Spectrum and Isolate are completely THC free.

To summarize, we thoroughly vet each and every hemp product we carry, including Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, CBD Isolate, and Delta 8 THC Oils and or Tinctures, and each have their differences and common details on the bottles. We hope that the labels are more understandable, and easier to choose what’s best for you.

Remedies, Life, and Moments with Dr.Ganja’s CBD

0

How do you start your day? Are you a morning or night person? Or a combination of both?

My fun and simple list of CBD daily products are listed below, no matter what time of day.

What I start my day with, CBD gummies

Every morning, I like to start with some CBD gummies that help me have the pickup that I really need with energy and a better mood. The CBDfx CBD gummy bears with hemp, turmeric and spirulina are my go-to, especially when I’m tired, which is quite often. I’m kind of a health nut and very picky, and these are great because there are no artificial flavors or colors.

I like CBDfx products because the Hemp and sugar are organic and easily vetted. Each gummy has 25mg of CBD. Some days I take 2 gummies before breakfast depending on how I feel, and more or less on others. I recommend taking one gummy at a time to see how they affect you.

For an afternoon boost, CBD oil

At lunch time, I use the Lazarus Naturals CBD Isolate Tincture because I want to generally feel good all over. All of Lazarus Naturals products are grown on their own farms. I usually put one dropper full of the oil under my tongue and try to wait at least 30 seconds before I swallow the oil. I like this oil because it’s flavorless and easy to use, and it can be added to anything.

Personally, I like using this oil and then drinking something after. I would suggest starting with one or two drops under your tongue, because the effects are absorbed faster than edibles, and see how it affects you. Each dropper of CBD has 50mg and the bottle has 1500mg of CBD Isolate. It has no THC, which I prefer because I don’t react well to it.

My personal favorite, any time of day, Vaping CBD

I personally love vaping because the effects are absorbed within minutes. The Secret Nature CBD distillate live resin vape cartridge(s) are very potent with Full Spectrum CBD. A little goes a long way, and I usually use up one cartridge in a week, but because these are such a heavy oil and concentrated, I can use a cartridge in about 2 weeks.

A daily staple that helps me throughout the day and I highly recommend is the Secret Nature Gelato Vape Cartridge, with 436mg of CBD. It really helps to mellow out and balance me, with both mind and body effects within minutes. I would start slow with small hits, to see effects and then choose what is best for you.

Another vape cartridge that is a must have for sleep is the CBD for the People Uncut Granddaddy Purple Wax Cartridge, because it has very potent Indica dominant terpenes that absorb quickly and help me fall and stay asleep. These terpenes help my mood too, and I really like how relaxed my mind is and how it helps me to get deep sleep.

It has an impressive 650mg of Full-Spectrum CBD, and I definitely suggest starting out with a small puff to start. This cartridge is uncut, meaning it doesn’t have additives or any cutting agents. Nor do they use additives, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.

This is important to me because I prefer cleaner oil and products.

At night time, Topical CBD

For extra painful days, I use the Lazarus Naturals Full Spectrum CBD Balm Relief and Recovery  for my arthritis and neck pain. It has an incredible blend of Full Spectrum Hemp CBD extract with capsaicin and menthol, which help soothe my skin and feel relief faster than taking oil.

I use a small amount on my knees and neck and it generally helps the pain to lessen, so I’m able to relax and focus on what I enjoy doing instead of being limited. I usually wait for the balm to absorb before using more. This balm won’t hinder you or make your skin greasy. Each .7oz container of balm contains 1000mg of CBD.

We hope this helps, and that you can relate and enjoy your moments throughout the day with our CBD products. Questions and Feedback are always welcome.

3Chi Pancakes Delta 8 Vape Cartridge Review

Who is 3Chi?

The name of the 3Chi company means ‘life force’ in Chinese. A man with over 15 years of experience as a chemist founded 3Chi. He formed the company because he believes in cannabis’s ability to aid in physical and mental well-being. His expertise guides 3Chi in making and marketing their hemp-derived products.

The company produces a multitude of CBD and other cannabis-related products. Other cannabinoids featured in their offerings include CBC, CBG, and CBN. Delta-8 THC is one of their newer offerings. Dosing options they provide include tinctures, oils, and edibles. That gives them a varied product line to meet the needs of users.

3Chi produces the bulk of its own products, while a lab in Arizona creates the others. Every product goes through third-party testing for safety and purity. This commitment to quality includes the Delta 8 Pancakes vape cartridge.

3Chi Pancakes Delta 8 Vape Cartridge: Product Specifications

  • Product Size: 1ml
  • Made With: 100% USA-grown industrial hemp
  • Ingredients: Unadulterated hemp-derived oil and cannabis terpenes
  • No cutting agents or plastic materials
  • Caution: This product could cause positive drug screening. Although delta-8 THC is federally legal, each state has its own laws. Some states do not permit the use of cannabinoids at this time. THC is psychotropic. Users shouldn’t drive after vaping with this product. The company recommends consulting your doctor before use.
  • Suggested Use: This cartridge works with all 510-thread vape pens. Screw on the cart, then press the power button. Inhale once or twice from the mouthpiece. Within minutes the effects should kick in. After determining personal delta-8 THC effects, consume as desired.
  • Contains: less than 0.3% delta-9 THC

Appearance, labeling & first impressions

After opening the shipment box, I saw the product nestled amidst the foam packing peanuts.

They seal the cart in a clear plastic sleeve. Behind it is a two-sided cardboard insert. It shows the purchaser right away what’s inside.

The stylized hemp leaf company logo and name dominate the front of the insert. Beneath that it plainly states that it is a delta-8 THC product. Next, is the strain name the product was inspired after — Pancakes. Below that it notes the 1ml volume.

Along the side of the cart is a line of text. It declares that the contents are 100% hemp-derived. It also says the company uses ‘no cutting agents’. Thirdly, it states the cart’s infusion of cannabis-derived terpenes (CDT). Then it proclaims the product is ‘USA made’.

The backside of the insert has a wealth of information. It names the flavor as ‘Pancakes’ and identifies the strain as a hybrid plant. It also states the content as 95% delta-8 THC oil and 5% terpenes.

Right next to that is the QR-code. With a smartphone, a user scans the QR symbol to open up the company website. This is where they post the 3rd-party testing information.

Underneath the contents and the code is the ingredients list. It indicates hemp extract as the main ingredient. After that, it declares ‘cannabis-derived terpenes’.

Then there’s a paragraph with directions for use. It first says to remove the cap from the cart, then screw it onto a 510-threaded battery. After that, the customer takes a single puff and waits. 20 minutes is the time it suggests waiting. After determining the effects, the user can then take another hit. It recommends 1-2 puffs as a typical dosage.

There is a warning about operating machinery while using the vape cart. It advises against using the item while pregnant. Users must be of legal age to use cannabis. That age is 21 in most places within the United States. It does forewarn that using the cart might result in a positive drug test. All good things to keep in mind.

More specific content info is below the middle paragraph. The vape oil is 100% hemp-derived. It meets the legal rule of less than 0.3% delta-9 THC. Lastly, there’s a batch number with an expiration date.

A sentence under the batch data identifies 3Chi as the cart manufacturer. Then underneath that, is the company’s social media icons and website address. Last but not least is a product barcode.

The packaging is nice and useful. There’s plenty of valuable info. But what really matters is what’s inside.

Smell and taste

After my initial few puffs, I found it does smell like fresh morning pancakes. However, the taste is more lemony than syrupy. But it’s still flavorful and that I enjoyed.

It makes a good accompaniment in the morning to coffee and actual pancakes, I found. The fragrance hangs pleasantly in the air. There’s no skunkiness or weedy fog. Just a sweet maple syrup smell that lingers awhile.

I can’t say it’s especially smooth. I had some good coughing, but that can increase the high. Its harshness is offset by its effects. The buzz is quite good!

Testing process and experience

I like vape carts because, after the initial puff or two, the effects kick in quickly. As I said, it packs a good punch, the high comes on strong and fast. It feels like a regular marijuana hit. The only thing is that delta-8 highs don’t last quite as long. But I also felt a rapid reduction of pain and stress. That lasted a few hours.

I find carts and vaping easy to dose with. They’re portable and simple to use. And there are dozens and dozens of hits in each cartridge. The downside is that if you use it a lot, then it may get used up quickly. That and vape pens need recharging. If you lose track of your dosing, you may have to wait for the battery to recharge before taking a hit.

Vapes are easy to slip into a pocket or purse, so you can take them with you. You have to be careful about dosing in public. There are some local laws about public intoxication. I would never recommend driving under the influence of cannabis, not even delta-8. Wise use is a good rule of thumb.

This is a hybrid variety, so it has a nice balance of energy and relaxation. It is good for just about any time during the day. It won’t make you too sleepy. Neither will it make you feel caffeinated. For those reasons, I usually prefer hybrids like this one.

Final Verdict

I have tried a few different delta-8 vape carts. This one was arguably the best thus far. The buzz intensity was the most like a straight delta-9 THC cart. The high lasts for half an hour or so, compared to an hour when vaping delta-9. The beneficial effects lasted longer than the high, I would say a few hours at least.

The flavor was good, more citrusy than one might expect. The ‘Pancakes’ name seemed more applicable to the syrupy fragrance of the vape smoke. Aside from some coughing after hitting, it was pleasant to puff.

Hybrids like this strain have balance. Neither too stimulating nor overly sedating. That makes this variety of vape cartridges a good way to dose any time of the day. It’s a pleasant hit for the best of times or the worst of times. Try it and take a puff anytime you’re in the mood.

Dr.Ganja Wedding Cake Smalls Review

0

What’s so great about hemp flower smalls? Well, for starters you get the same quality as the larger nugs, but at a huge discount. Also, for those wanting to make CBD oil for use in baking recipes or topicals, smalls are a steal — at a price of around $1 per gram.

In addition, those looking to smoke or vape flower at a price that can’t be beat, smalls are also the way to go.

In this review of Dr.Ganja’s Wedding Cake Smalls, we’ll discuss this strain in detail, give you an idea of the smoking experience, the aroma, appearance, as well as some background on the company who sells it.

Let’s get started, shall we?

Who is Dr. Ganja?

Dr. Ganja is the brand that launched an online CBD marketplace in 2017. It’s goal was and continues to be offering a platform for users who can shop for all their CBD needs in one place, and at affordable prices. The company has developed a reputation for excellent customer service and for offering international shipping, when many other companies in this industry do not.

Furthermore, given its growth over the last few years, Dr. Ganja now offers lots of other hemp-derived products, including oils, capsules, vape carts, flower, and others with the cannabinoids Delta 8 THC, CBG, CBC, CBN, with more to come in the future.

What are Wedding Cake Hemp Flower Smalls?

Firstly, Wedding Cake is the name of the hemp flower strain. While it’s exact origins and genetics are unknown, what is known is the high CBD content this fabulous strain produces. It’s one of the highest yielding CBD strains around and with its diverse terpene profile, Wedding Cake offers quite the aroma.

Also, the word “smalls” refers to small pieces of the bud that either broke off the larger nug while drying or trimming, or buds that didn’t get very big in the first place.

Appearance, Labeling & First Impressions

The Wedding Cake smalls from Dr. Ganja come in an airtight and resealable mylar bag. On the front, there’s a label with the Dr.Ganja logo and underneath the logo it says CBD Flower. The label also let’s you know the flower was grown in the USA and has less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC (to remain compliant with federal laws).

When you flip the bag over, you’ll see a QR code that you can scan with your smartphone to retrieve the results of lab testing. The label also has a batch number and breakout of some of the cannabinoid percentages. There’s also a “tested on” date so you know when the batch got tested by the third party lab. You’ll see the quantity of flower you buy, in this case, the bag has 1 ounce.

Smell & Flavor

When you open the bag of Wedding Cake Smalls your nose instantly devours a pungent, sour, tangy spell. Also, it can smell a bit skunk-like for some people. This strain also has notes of earth and wood.

As you break open the little buds to put them in your grinder or to decarb them in the oven, the aroma becomes more earthy, yet still pungent. If you’re smoking these smalls, there won’t be a ton of flavor due to combustion. So, if you’re more into getting a taste of the terpenes, a vaporizer will be your best bet.

Testing Process & Experience

Personally, I’m a fan of smoking joints. So, when testing out this strain, I grinded up a few buds and packed my organic hemp paper pre-rolled cone. I smoked about half the joint on a day when my stress levels were pretty high. I was working through and processing some pretty heavy emotional stuff, and figured it was a great time to smoke the Wedding Cake Smalls to see what they offered.

Shortly after I finished my smoke session, I started to feel more at ease and relaxed. Rather than thoughts racing through my mind and feelings of anxiety throughout my body, I felt present. These effects lasted for a few hours and provided the much needed relief I was seeking at the time.

Each time I smoked this strain after that day, I experienced similar effects — tranquility, relaxation, and was able to be in the present moment.

Final Verdict: Comes through with some chilled-out effects

In addition to the high CBD content, aromatic tangy smells of the little buds, the Wedding Cake strain produces effects that can have you feeling super relaxed, focused, content, and at peace. How can it get any better than that?

Oh, I know!

Look at the price tag and you’ll end up falling more in love with these smalls.

Endoca 300mg Raw CBD Oil Review

0

CBD oil is one of the most popular ways to consume hemp-derived cannabidiol. But did you know there’s something called raw CBD oil? The raw element refers to unheated, or non-decarboxylated CBD. The technical name for this is CBDa.

Just like raw versus cooked foods, there are different benefits to both. So, Endoca figured it would mix the two (CBD + CBDa) together to achieve something special. In this review, you’ll get the inside scoop on Endoca’s 300mg Raw CBD oil, learn about who this company is, and read my personal experience with using the product.

Let’s dive right in!

Who is Endoca?

After entering the CBD industry over 10 years ago, Endoca had a goal “to make CBD common-place in all homes in the world by 2030.” Each year as it continues to grow its business and reputation for making high-quality products, it gets closer and closer to its goal.

Endoca is also making a big impact on the agricultural landscape in Europe (its home base). Not only does it grow organically, but is training local farmers to do so too. And it’s working to transform millions of acres of land into organic, fertile soil.

Furthermore, the company does everything in-house. From cultivating its own crops, lab testing, manufacturing, to bottling its products for sale. Besides creating CBD oils, Endoca also sells capsules, topicals, highly concentrated extracts, isolate powder, and even suppositories.

Endoca 300mg Raw CBD Oil: Product Specifications

  • 300mg of combined CBD and CBDa per bottle
  • 10ml bottle for a serving of 1mg per drop or 30mg per ml
  • CBDa is the raw (non-heated) version of CBD
  • Ingredients: Hemp seed oil, omega 3, omega 6, Vitamin E, cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabidiolic acid (CBDa), trace amounts of CBC, CBG, CBN, and terpenes
  • Less than 0.3% THC
  • Unflavored (grassy hemp taste)
  • Labs test every batch. Verifies there are no pesticides, mycotoxins, microbial contaminants, or heavy metals.
  • Made with organically grown Denmark hemp

Appearance, labeling, & first impressions

The bottle of full-spectrum CBD oil came in a box with descriptive labeling. Right off the bat, it lets you know it’s a medium-potency product with 1mg of CBD per drop. Also, a complete list of ingredients could easily be found on the side of the box and it gave details on how to use and store the product.

Even more, the oil tincture comes in a durable, opaque glass bottle with an easy use squeeze top lid. And the dropper itself is designed to make each drop come out smoothly, so you can dose as you wish.

In sum, the first impressions were great and made it that much more exciting to try.

Smell & taste

Both the smell and taste are pretty intense. Given the raw component and the other nutrients in the formula, it wasn’t all that surprising to get an overwhelmingly strong hemp flavor.

The smell was one thing, but the powerful taste had me reaching for a glass of water to try and wash it down. If you have sensitive taste buds or an aversion to strong, earthy flavors this might not be for you. However, given the high quality of Endoca’s products, you may want to consider the capsules for a taste-less experience.

Testing process & experience

I used Endoca’s raw CBD oil for about a week and would take it in the afternoon or shortly before I went to sleep. Each time I took a dose I put the oil straight under my tongue, in a sublingual fashion.

Although the taste was really hard to get past, I didn’t want that to stop me from potentially experiencing some great effects. Since I never tried a product with CBDa, I was curious to see how it worked in combination with CBD.

Each time I had the oil, I could definitely feel it working. I don’t have any pain in my body, but sometimes I have high stress in my life which makes me feel anxious. There are even times when I don’t feel very motivated.

Endoca’s Raw CBD Oil definitely helped with all of these things. It gave me lasting peace and made me feel balanced so I had the ability to get my work done. In addition, I could easily notice the calming properties and they lasted with me for several hours.

Final verdict: Combines raw and heated CBD to create one potent CBD oil

Not many oil tinctures on the market blend the raw (CBDa) and heated versions of CBD together in one product. So, that alone makes Endoca’s oil stand out. Also, the formula has a host of other beneficial and therapeutic nutrients like omega 3, 6, vitamin E, other cannabinoids, and terpenes.

This stellar formula is what makes the product so effective, in my opinion. And for a small 10ml bottle and an affordable price, it’s a good way to try out a product without having to spend a ton of money.

ELLZ Original Pre Rolls Review

0

The convenience of hemp pre rolls is awesome, no doubt. But when you find a company that hand rolls its flower in an organic, novelty, rolling paper, you know you’ve struck gold.

That’s one of the shining features of the ELLZ Original Pre Rolls. Plus, they have a lot of other amazing things going on, which we’ll dive into during this review. Specifically, we’ll cover things like the product’s appearance, aroma, smokability, effects, and more juicy details.

Before doing that, we want to provide you some background on ELLZ.

Who is ELLZ?

ELLZ is an LA brand with a huge passion and love for hemp. In particular, the company’s passionate about making smokable hemp products in the most unique and authentic ways.

That’s why it spent tireless hours and lots of brainpower to develop a one-of-a-kind organic rolling paper for its Original Pre Rolls. It also carries hemp cigarettes called ELLZ Classic, which feature a specialty filter that has a spiral design. This filter not only keeps little pieces of material from slipping through but also makes each smoke session as smooth as possible.

Also, the brand ELLZ is all about transparency. After all, when it comes to buying wellness products, it’s essential to know what’s included and what’s not, right? That’s why you’ll find a QR-code on each pouch or box that you can scan with your smartphone. From there a link will appear to click on, this link takes you to a copy of the batch testing results.

The third-party lab tests provide assurance and peace of mind that the hemp in all ELLZ products is free of pesticides, heavy metals, and other major contaminants. Now that you got some background on the company…

Are you ready for the scoop on the ELLZ pre-rolled joints?

ELLZ Original Pre Rolls: product specifications

  • USA-grown industrial hemp flower
  • 15.1233% CBD
  • Hand-rolled with organic hemp rolling paper
  • 2 CBD blunts per package
  • These pre rolls get packed in a resealable foil pouch
  • Approximately 1 gram of ground-up hemp flower per pre roll
  • Contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC
  • QR code on the back label to take you to third-party lab results
  • 3rd party tested for cannabinoids, pesticides, heavy metals, microbial contaminants, and mycotoxins
  • Available in a 1-pack or 15-pack

Appearance, labeling & first impressions

These pre rolled hemp joints come in a foil package that you can zip close to preserve and lock in the freshness. On the front, in big letters are the words “ELLZ ORIGINAL HEMP PRE ROLLS”. The pouch also lets you know there are 2 pre rolls inside and to remind or encourage you to “Relax and Enjoy” as you smoke them.

At the top, there’s a dotted line and the words “tear here”. And right underneath that is the ziplock seal.

On the backside, there’s a sticker with the QR code and a summary of the lab testing results. It’s smack dab in the center of the package, so you won’t miss it. And perhaps, that’s the point! It also mentioned that the hemp flower inside the pre rolls was grown in the USA and contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC.

When I opened up the pouch a wonderful smell hit my nostrils. I emptied out the two brown-colored hemp pre-rolls into my hand and say filters at the ends. There was no question in my mind that these were in fact hand rolled, no machines whatsoever. Overall, the first impressions were super positive.

Aroma & flavor

As I briefly mentioned, the smell upon opening up the pouch was delightful! It reminded me of Hawaiian Haze, with its sweet, fruity, and earthy aromas. You could tell the flower was fresh and rich in terpene goodness.

Since this is a product you smoke (expose to combustion) and not vape, the flavors aren’t exactly the selling point. But there’s still a subtle flavor when smoking these ELLZ that is very satisfying. The flavors I got were similar to the aromas, an earthy taste with some undertones of fruit.

Testing process & experience

Each of these ELLZ Originals has one gram of hemp flower, so I was not able to finish the whole thing in one session. I probably went through about a third of the blunt per smoke sesh. That was perfect for me and gave me at least 7 to 8 hits each time.

As for the effects, I felt really relaxed and my mind came back into harmony. No more busy thoughts racing through my head, just a state of cool, calm, and collected. Even with the relaxed feeling, I never felt sleepy. But I mostly smoked in the afternoons and only a few times at night.

However, the few times I smoked late in the evening, I noticed it got my mind thinking about bed and definitely made falling asleep much easier and faster.

Compared to other CBD pre rolls I’ve tried, these definitely stood out because of the beautiful way they burned, the ease of each hit on my throat, and the quality of effects.

Final verdict: made with love, aromatic, tastes fresh, & smokes smooth

How special is it to get a product that was made from scratch, by hand, with an original rolling paper? In a world of machine-made products that get made quickly, the good vibes and love that goes into something handmade get lost. But, not with the ELLZ Originals my friends.

On top of the originality factor, these CBD blunts have an inviting and yummy aroma profile, along with a fresh and smooth finish. I give them 5 stars all the way!
