First time trying a distillate and I’m impressed. Though I’ve only been using it as an edible so this review is from a ‘distillate as an edible’ perspective. Traditional edibles are still a little more convenient but this has become one of my favorite products.
It’s a very viscous fluid reminiscent of sap and it’s very sticky. It’s the only real gripe I have with it. It’s a little annoying to handle.
It’s pretty well concentrated, though dosing hasn’t been an issue. HHC is one of the milder isomers so I can still be somewhat productive. That productivity goes away with larger portions but it becomes better for relaxation. It brings my mood up and makes it more fun to daydream or do creative projects.
If I leave it under my tongue for a while before swallowing, it starts working fairly quickly, sometimes under 20 minutes. Swallowing it immediately typically makes it start working after 2 hours. It usually lasts about 4 hours.
It only takes a small bead of it to feel the effect. There’s a lot of portions in that small jar. It’s the best value for HHC that I’ve seen on the market so far.
I can’t comment on the smells or tastes since I haven’t vaped it. It doesn’t taste much of anything as an edible, which is pretty convenient because I can just smear a bit on whatever I’m eating and it doesn’t change the flavor of the food.
