Besides that, all of cbdMD’s products contain a broad-spectrum CBD formula, with 0% THC. It offers its products in a wide variety of potencies and sizes. Also, it has a 60-day money-back guarantee, which is virtually unheard of. Lastly, the company provides 30% discounts to active and retired military members and 40% discounts to disabled customers.
Now, it’s time to talk about the gummies.

Appearance, labeling & first impressions
When the product arrived from Dr.Ganga, I quickly opened the bottle to discover what was inside. I appreciated the safety twist lid to keep the gummies fresh and out of the “wrong” hands. Next, I peeled off the protective film and loved the pretty cube-shaped gummies staring back at me.
Then I took a close look at the product label. It tells you the amount of CBD per gummy, the total number of gummies, the flavor combination (tropical mix), and supplement facts. Also, the full list of ingredients is provided and there are cute little icons to remind you that the gummies are THC free, vegan, and made from USA hemp.
Something else that caught my eye was cbdMD’s phone number. It’s smart to include that on the label and puts you in touch with them quickly, should you have a question. Finally, the bottle has a QR code that you can scan with your phone to view a copy of the COA (Certificate of Analysis). This report gives you the details of the third-party lab test results. But, when I scanned the code, it took me to a cbdMD link that asked for my batch number. I didn’t see a batch number anywhere on the bottle, so….
Anyway, I tried every number I saw on the bottle and underneath the bottle, but to no avail. Next, I went to the FAQ section on the company’s website but struck out there too. So, I visited the gummies product page and found a copy of the COA there. From this most recent test (3/1/2020), I learned that the gummies are free of THC, and also have no e.coli or salmonella. Thank goddess, right?
Also, I saw that each gummy tested at 10.64mg of CBD, so the dose is accurate. However, the terpene profile wasn’t tested and the only detectable cannabinoids were CBD and CBDA. My point? This doesn’t sound like much of a broad-spectrum product to me. Plus that company says, “our unique process ensures valuable cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN) and terpenes are preserved”.
But, the terpenes weren’t tested, so I can’t back up that claim. And the test results for CBG and CBN came back as “Not Detected (ND).” At this point, the company lost some points with me.
Smell and taste
Let’s be honest, if CBD gummies have an “okay” smell and funky taste, we don’t want anything to do with them. After all, when we think about gummies, we think, fruity, delicious, mouthwatering, and satisfying. Fortunately, cbdMD does a wonderful job in this category. The smell is fruity and immediately gives you the confidence that they’ll taste great. And they do!
Testing process and experience
Before writing this review I consumed about 10 gummies. I ate them at different points of the day and on occasion had two of them in one day. First off, I want to say the texture of the gummies is great and they’re easy to chew and have the right kind of softness. They reminded me a bit like gumdrops.
Also, the flavors were enjoyable and I appreciated the company’s efforts to source organic cane sugar, and organic fruit and vegetable juice for sweetness and coloring. Ingredients are super important to me, so I greatly appreciate a gummy that’s made in the most healthy and conscientious way possible.
Next, I want to talk about the effects. But first I must say that I have an intermediate CBD tolerance. So the potency of 10mg CBD gummies are a bit low for me, but I still have some positive news to report.
The first few times I ate the gummies, I didn’t feel much at all. But, the next several times I felt calm and relaxed. It was a nice feeling and helped me get through my busy workday and maintain a sense of balance. I’m sure the 25mg higher dose gummies would enhance and heighten the effects.
Final Verdict
cbdMD is a well-known and admired company in the arena of hemp-derived CBD wellness products. And the quality in the labeling, instructions for use, and the formula really shine through. The one issue I had was with the lab testing reports, but other than that, I feel it’s a great overall product. If you’re new to CBD then the 10mg gummies are a good starting point. But intermediate to experienced users may benefit more from the 25mg gummies.
